POLYETHYLENE
(PE)
Polyethylene (PE) is a versatile material with extensive applications in plastic packaging. It stands as the preferred choice of material due to its cost-effectiveness durability, flexibilitym and resistance to moisture and chemicals. PE plastic bags are widely used for their convenience, ease of production, and recyclability options.

POST-CONSUMER
RECYCLE (PCR)
Post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials refer to plastic packaging that is disposed of by consumers and then processed to create plastic pallets. By utilizing PCR materials in our packaging, we minimize reliance on virgin petrochemicals, promoting sustainability while maintaining the quality and functionality required for modern packaging needs.

BIO-DEGRADABLE

Biodegradable plastic bags are innovative alternatives to traditional plastic bags and are designed to break down naturally over time through biological processes. These biodegradable bags offer a sustainable solution for packaging needs while helping to combat plastic pollution and promoting a cleaner and greener planet.

COMPOSTABLE

Compostable materials are eco-friendly alternatives that can be broken down into organic matter through composting facilities. Derived from renewable sources or plant-based compounds, these materials eliminate the use of non-renewable petrochemicals, reduce environmental impact, and contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable planet.

BANS OR RESTRICTIONS

If a country implement's bans or restrictions on certain types of plastic bags (e.g. single-use plastic bans), it will increase the demand for more eco-friendly bags, such as reusable bags, or sustainable materials like biodegradable or compostable bags. These policies aim to reduce plastic pollution and promote sustainable alternatives.

RECYCLING
INFRASTRUCTURE

Countries with robust recycling infrastructures may encourage the use of recyclable plastics for bag production. Efficient recycling facilities allow plastic bags to be collected, sorted, and reprocessed to bags with recycled content, reducing the need for virgin plastic materials.

WASTE DISPOSAL &
WASTE MANAGEMENT POLICIES

In landfills, biodegradable plastics that degrade faster than PE bags are preferred since they reduce landfill stress. When waste is incinerated, biodegradable bags offer no significant advantage over PE bags, as both types end up being incinerated. Reusable bags may be preferred as they have a longer life cycle and can generate less waste sent to landfills for incineration.
